In 2017, a quiet revolution began in Akure, Nigeria.
It started with just a few widows—women who had lost their husbands, their security,
and often their voice. With little more than determination and a shared dream, they
gathered in a modest space to make soap and skin creams by hand. Each bar sold meant
food on the table, school fees paid, and a small but powerful step toward dignity.
From that humble beginning grew the HEART for Widows Training Center—
a vibrant hub of learning, laughter, and transformation. What started as a single room
for soap-making has blossomed into a thriving ecosystem where women master sewing,
baking, hairdressing, fabric dyeing, and farming.
Today, over 200 widows have walked through our doors—not as victims, but
as students, entrepreneurs, mentors, and leaders.
Our model works. It’s sustainable. And it’s ready to grow.
We give tools, not handouts.
Widows meet weekly to work, pray, and help each other.
Every woman is treated with respect and as the expert of her own life.
Every donation flows directly into local projects.
